MSMEs take advantage of better framework conditions for growth that benefits all sections of the population. As a result, employment in Mozambique increases, incomes rise and poverty is reduced.

The project comprises three fields of action:
1. Business Environment - Improve the business climate and the range of public services available to MSMEs.
2. Private Sector Development - Promotes inclusive business models through development partnerships with the aim of integrating MSMEs into their supply chains and improving access to services.
3. Financial Sector Development - improves formal financial services for MSMEs in rural areas by supporting the Central Bank of Mozambique, the Mozambican Banking Association and selected financial service providers.
